MV Geos

The MV Geos was purposely built in 2009 to perform as a geotechnical drilling cum analogue survey vessel. It is capable of drilling boreholes in a maximum water depth of 300m. She was used to undertake deep drilling to 550m below seabed. The MV Geos is also equipped with a moonpool, a motion-compensated drilling system, wireline CPT and an onboard soil testing laboratory.

MV Volans

The MV Volans is a medium size (overall length 50m) survey vessel. The MV Volans was re-built in 1980 and last refitted in 2012. The MV Volans is capable of carrying out geophysical and geotechnical surveys in over 1,000m water depth. The MV Volans is also equipped with seismic spread to carry out 2D hi-res geohazard surveys. The vessel can also be used as platform for the deployment of shallow water Seabed CPT, vibrocore and piston sampler for geochemical survey and sampling. The MV Volans is also suitable to be used as survey vessel for fibre option cable route surveys.

MV Ocean Discovery

The MV Ocean Discovery is a dedicated geotechnical vessel operating world wide. The 87m long vessel is   equipped with a DP1 and a 4- point mooring system.

The MV Ocean Discovery has a permanently installed range of drilling, in situ testing and sampling equipment which is interchangeable at sea and deployed through a central weather protected moonpool. This enables the vessel to perform integrated investigations during one mobilisation to site.

MV Geoaltus

DP Geoaltus is the Group's dedicated geotechnical vessel for shallow and deep water operations. The 70-metre vessel is equipped with dynamic positioning (DP2) and 4-point mooring systems. The vessel is equipped with a 3.5m x 3.5m centre moon-pool, a motion-compensated drilling system, wireline CPT and shear vane system and maintains an on-board soil testing laboratory. The standard capabilities of the Geoaltus include drilling for geotechnical boreholes and deep pilot holes, various seabed testing systems, specialised geotechnical testing tools, investigation for various offshore foundation types and pipeline routes. The 36 berth vessel is fully equipped with advanced technology and it can also be used as platform for launching deepwater Seabed CPT, ROV and AUV.

MV AG Surveyor

The AG Surveyor is a 61m long ocean going survey vessel last refitted in 2012 in Malaysia. The vessel can also be used as platform for the deployment of shallow water Seabed CPT, vibrocore and piston sampler for geochemical survey and sampling. This Malaysian-flagged vessel is equipped with a full ocean depth high resolution EM710 multibeam echo sounders and state of the art geophysical survey equipment. The AG Surveyor is capable of carrying geophysical and geotechnical surveys in 2,000m of water. The AG Surveyor is equipped with a V-Sat communication system for internet access and fast data transfer to shore base. The AG Surveyor has carried geophysical surveys in Europe, Africa and now in Southeast Asia and proved to be a very reliable survey platform.
